I started my caving activities in the university of México (UNAM) in the mountaineering club and my diving training in the same university in the science faculty.
I became an open water instructor (mex-3s-156) in the Naval Navy School in the port of Veracruz during a FMAS/CMAS international training course at the military base. I finished my training as 3 star instructor.
(Inactive) NAUI instructor trainer and course director during the second IT/CD course in México with Peter Oliver as HQ evaluator.
I became Cave Diving Instructor through the National Association for Cave Diving (NACD) as instructor I-95 (Inactive) working and assisting in training with David Rhea, Jim Coke, Dan Lins, Steve Gerrard, Gary Walton, Parker Turner.
(Active) NSS/CDS Cave Instructor sponsor and safety officer for México for many years, completing my evaluation with Dennis William, Steve Ormeroid and Denny Willis.
(Active) I became a TDI instructor trainer IT 712 for mixed gas Diving and caves in the first years of the creation of this organization, and was evaluated by Brett Gilliam and Joe Odom.

(Active) Member of the Latin America and Caribbean Caving Federation (FEALC) and the Latin America Cave Rescue Organization (ELE) as a Cave Rescue instructor Cave Explorer in dry and underwater caves for 30 years in different regions such as: Quintana Roo (Tulum, Playa del Carmen, Cancún, Puerto Morelos, Cozumel) in Yucatan state, Campeche state, Chiapas state, Oaxaca State, Puebla State, Tamaulipas state, Morelos state, San Luis Potosí state and other countries such as: Cuba, Puerto Rico, Panamá, Costa Rica, Guatemala, Spain.
Teaching experience with over 400 students in different programs such as: Cave, Trimix, CCR, and evaluated approx. 50 instructors in open water, cave and technical diving.
Diving in different regions and different environments mostly caves and sumps with a minimum of 2000 dives at different depths from 9 meters to 140 meters.
Experienced CCR Diver and instructor using Kiss mCCR and Nautilus eCCR, and received training from owners/manufactures Bruce Omholt and Mike Young.
Founder of 8 different cave adapted species in México and Guatemala and published in international science magazines such as Science, Marine Ecology, Subterranean, NSS journal. Published 25 cave maps of different caves in different magazines including the NSS journal, Naui journal, espacio profundo and other scientific magazines.
Published and coordinated 4 Caving books: FMAS/CMAS Cave Diving Manual, PSAI Underwater Cave Rescue and Recovery Manual, Las Cuevas de Cozumel, and Cave Bio diversity of Cozumel Caves, published by the university of QROO.
Member of the Underwater Archaeology Team of INAH for 14 years with the official position of Custody of the Archaeological Patrimony for INAH in the island of Cozumel.
Different recognitions from NSS and CDS as Cave Fellow, Golden Diver recognized by Sylvia Earle, and others by DAN, NACD, TDI as instructor awards.
